First Day Hike at May Forest State Park
Join us on a Padawan Plant Pursuit for invasive Sith plant species on the grounds of May Forest State Park. You will be guided by a Ranger as you learn about the flora and fauna that make up this park. By the end you will be able to us the Force of Plant Identification across South Carolinas Lowcountry.
Reservations are required. Please register for the hike by April 29th, 2025.
Pets are welcome outside of facilities but must be on a 6 ft. leash at all times. Please do not bring pets inside.
Be sure to bring water, binoculars, insect repellent, hiking shoes and a camera if you desire. Make sure to dress for the weather!
