Enjoy a sunrise or a sunset over the harbor at May Forest State Park, with a ranger-led talk on clouds and weather.
Whether you are just starting your day by watching the sunrise or bringing it to a close with a sunset, spend it at May Forest State Park! Gain a new perspective of the sky as a ranger helps you to identify different cloud types and what they reveal about the incoming weather. Bring some chairs or a blanket to sit on and enjoy the stunning view across the Charleston harbor.
Reservations are required. Please register at least one day prior to scheduled event.
Pets are welcome outside of facilities but must be on a 6 ft. leash at all times. Please do not bring pets inside. Be sure to bring water, binoculars, insect repellent, and a camera if you desire. Make sure to dress for the weather!
