Whether you are just starting your day by watching the sunrise or bringing it to a close with a sunset, spend it at May Forest State Park! Gain a new perspective of the sky as a ranger helps you to identify different cloud types and what they reveal about the incoming weather. Bring some chairs or a blanket to sit on and enjoy the stunning view across the Charleston harbor.

Pets are welcome outside of facilities but must be on a 6 ft. leash at all times. Please do not bring pets inside. Be sure to bring water, binoculars, insect repellent, and a camera if you desire. Make sure to dress for the weather!
