Join us to learn and practice some basic clothing repair skills used by soldiers in the field during the Civil War, such as: mending a tear, reattaching a lost button, and making & attaching a patch! As we work, we'll discuss the daily life of soldiers, the interesting history of patches, and why clothing repair was so important to civilians & soldiers alike.
