Event Details:

Join us at the Learning Center to learn about some fascinating and even microscopic organisms that live right off our docks, pylons, and other structures under the water! This is a very hands-on project that includes water quality testing, looking at many species of biofilm forming organisms under a microscope, identifying what you find. We will also learn about the importance of the salt marsh. This is a citizen-science project partnered with South Carolina Sea Grant. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
