Bring your own boat for no additional cost, or rent a park boat for only $20. Park boats are available on a first-come first-served basis. Please contact Chester State Park if you plan on renting a boat prior to the program date.
Life jackets are required for everyone, so bring your own or borrow one from the park.
The Paddle with a Ranger programs at Chester will be offered on April 23 and May 23, 2025. Space is limited and registration is required before April 21 and May 21, 2025. The cost for the Paddle with a Ranger program is $25 per participant. This program is intended for ages 16 and up, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Paddle with a Ranger program will start at 10:00 AM, so please plan to arrive at the park by 9:30 AM to meet and get set up.
