This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Step back in time and learn how families in the early 1900s used natural ingredients to create beautiful, hand-dyed eggs. Before store-bought dyes, people relied on onion skins, beets, coffee, and other plant-based materials to color eggs for Easter and spring celebrations. In this hands-on program, participants will use a cold-dye method to dip eggs into pre-made natural dye baths, experimenting with historical techniques like leaf imprinting and color layering. Join us for a creative, eco-friendly experience that connects history, nature, and tradition—leaving you with uniquely decorated eggs and a deeper appreciation for the past!
