Creek Adventure
Join Ranger Madison for Creek Adventures this summer!
Enjoy a one-mile hike along the Mountain Creek Trail followed by a hands-on creek exploration as we discover the vibrant world of water-dwelling creatures.
We’ll follow the creek and pond edges and go directly into the creek to search for frogs, fish, aquatic insects, and tiny critters hiding beneath rocks. Along the way, you’ll learn how these amazing animals are adapted to life in and around the water. After our hike, we’ll take a closer look at some of our discoveries using real microscopes, making this a fun and educational nature adventure for all ages.
Please wear shoes that can get wet (or borrow a pair from the park), as we will be entering the creek during our exploration.
