Feeling cooped up?
Get out in the woods, stretch your legs and count some birds with a Lee State Park Ranger! Don't know your birds? This is a great way to start. Topics covered will include basic bird ID, bird guides, bird ID apps and more. Bird walk will be 1-2 miles.
What to bring:
Wear sturdy hiking boots with great ankle support. Dress for the weather. Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them. You can borrow field guides from your local library. Free birding apps are also available in app stores. Snacks and water are suggested for the walk.
Registration:
Online registration is required. Deadline is one day before program.
