Paddle with a ranger program.
Join a Park Ranger for a guided kayaking adventure and experience the beauty of the water from a unique perspective. Participants will paddle around our Cabin Lake while learning about local wildlife, ecosystems, history, and conservation efforts. This program is suitable for beginners. Rangers will provide basic paddling instruction, safety information, and opportunities to observe birds, aquatic life, and other natural features along the route. Come prepared to get on the water, explore the outdoors, and gain a deeper appreciation for the area's natural resources.
Space may be limited, and advance registration is recommended. Participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing, bring water, sunscreen, and be prepared for changing conditions on the water. Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets will be provided for all participants. This program is intended for adults and children 12 and up. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and adult and must be able to paddle their own kayak.
