You can view all available nights, up to 12 months ahead, of any campsite that is showing unavailable for your selected dates. Unavailable campsites are shown on the map as gray icons.

Show Available Dates

The description window of any unavailable campsite includes a large green button with "Show Available Dates". Use this button to reveal an interactive calendar that shows every available date for that campsite — allowing you to easily change your dates so you can reserve that favorite campsite.

This will also reset your selected dates so that you can select more than one campsite for the same dates.

Campground Policies

Nightly campsite rates are based on location, season and site amenities. Rates are subject to state and local taxes, and are subject to change. Reservations may be made up to 13 months in advance. Reservations requested less than one day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.

Please note that check-in time for camping is 2:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m. Please contact the park office in advance for late arrival instructions.

All vehicles entering the park must display a valid pass.

Visitors not registered for an overnight stay are required to pay the park admission. Roadside parking is prohibited. Parking on unoccupied campsites is prohibited.

• Campsites accommodate a maximum of 6 persons, exceptions may be made for single families larger than 6. Minimum age for reserving a site is 18 and they must occupy the site.
• Campers are allowed either a maximum of one trailer/RV and one tent, OR two tents per site.
• Standard RV sites are allowed a maximum of two vehicles at the site (this includes golf carts and trailers). All additional vehicles need to park in the designated overflow parking areas or the front office parking lot and display a valid parking pass.
• Parking for tent sites 1-15 is in the main campground. Only one vehicle per site may be parked in their designated site. All additional vehicles or trailers need to park in the overflow or trailer parking areas and must display a valid parking pass.
• All vehicles must remain on paved portions of the campsite. No vehicles will be permitted to park on grass, mulch, road shoulders, adjacent sites, or other locations in the campground.
• Golf carts must be driven and parked on paved or established roads and parking areas. Golf carts are considered a vehicle. You must be a licensed driver to operate the golf cart, and they cannot be driven after dark. You must have all permits as required by the SCDMV. The trailer or vehicle carrying the cart should not be parked at the campsite. It should be parked at the area behind the trading post/near barn area. Overflow is the putt-putt parking area.
• Due to wildlife activity and to protect the park's resources from litter, secure all bagged food and trash in an enclosed vehicle or camper outside of designated trash pickup times.
• Campground trash is collected by park staff. Staff designated hours for pickup are mornings at 8:30 A.M. and in the afternoon at 4:00 P.M. Please station all properly contained trash by your site post for pickup only at these designated times.
• All fires must be confined to designated grills or areas.
• Pets are allowed in camping areas. All pets must be on a leash no greater than 6 feet or crated at all times. They cannot be left unattended in a vehicle or on the campsite.
• The public display and consumption of alcohol is prohibited.
• Maximum length of stay is 14 nights. Minimum length of stay is 2 nights. Some parks have longer minimum stay requirements during peak season and holidays.
• Maximum cumulative (total) stay for most parks is 42 out of 49 days. However, during peak season, high volume parks may shorten the maximum cumulative (total) stay during peak season to a 14-day consecutive stay.
• Campers must leave the park for 7 days after reaching the maximum cumulative (total) stay. Example: For a campsite in the peak season, in for 14 nights, switch sites for another 14 nights, switch sites for another 14 nights then they must leave for 7 nights (42 out of 49 nights camping).
• Registered campers must contact park staff before changing sites.
• Customers requesting an ADA (accessible) site are directed to contact the park directly.
• South Carolina State Parks has a strict policy against subletting sites. This means that you cannot book a site and then sell or transfer it to someone else. The person who reserved the site must occupy the site. If we discover you have sublet a site, we will contact you and put you on notice that you have violated our policy and ask that any reference to a guaranteed date at a state park be removed from your advertisement within 24 hours. After you are on notice of the initial violation, any further breach of our policy will result in cancellation of bookings and the park will not accept future reservation requests.

Cancellation and Transfer/Change Policies

• To ensure fairness in reserving campsites, you cannot transfer or shorten a reservation more than 12 months in advance of the arrival date.
• Reservations are for a specific park and cannot be transferred from one park to another.
• Promotional discounts cannot be transferred at the discounted rate.
• To cancel or transfer a reservation, the caller must be able to provide either the name or phone number on the reservation or the reservation number. To change a name on a reservation is considered a cancellation. Cancellations can be made online by providing the reservation number and email address.
• Transfers made 7+ days from reservation date will incur no charges. Transfers made 6 days or less from reservation date will incur a $10.00 per unit administrative charge.
• Cancellations made 60+ days from reservation date will incur no charges; 15-59 days will incur a $10.00 per unit administrative charge; 4-14 days will forfeit the 1st night's stay; 3 days or less will forfeit all deposit funds, no refund. No-show reservations forfeit all funds.

Select Available Nights

To select nights for your camping reservation, click on an active check-in date for the desired campsite. Then select the last night of your stay. Your reservation will be highlighted and your check-out date is indicated on the next date.

Use the Calendar or links to change the date range of the list.

Select Multiple Campsites

Using this view, you can select more than one campsite, as well as multiple check-in and check-out dates, on the same reservation. This allows you to assemble a longer reservation from more than one campsite - helpful during the busy season. You can also reserve multiple sites for your group to accommodate varying arrivals or departures.

Consecutive Nights Required

You may select any number of campsites and dates as long as your reservation is no longer than 14 nights and all dates are consecutive or overlap.

Reserving campsites with separate date ranges, such as over two different weekends with unreserved dates in between, requires making separate reservations. You can complete one reservation and use the Make Another Reservation button in the confirmation stage to easily make additional reservations.

The nightly rate for each campsite is displayed by date and individual site. Note that rates are subject to change based on availability and season.

The quoted rate for each night does not include taxes or the reservation fee.
