Camping at Little Pee Dee

Set out for a weekend of adventure and camp at one of the lakeside sites located at Little Pee Dee State Park. Lake Norton offers still waters to fish for bream, bass and catfish, which is appreciated amongst local fisherman, as well as visiting anglers.

Rent a canoe or kayak to paddle down the Little Pee Dee River, located on the south end of the park. Wildlife is abundant throughout the park, so keep an eye out for the parks wild inhabitants.

Select Available Nights

To select nights for your camping reservation, click on an active check-in date for the desired campsite. Then select the last night of your stay. Your reservation will be highlighted and your check-out date is indicated on the next date. Most campsites require a minimum of a 2-night stay.

Use the Calendar or links to change the date range of the list.

Select Multiple Campsites

Using this view, you can select more than one campsite, as well as multiple check-in and check-out dates, on the same reservation. This allows you to assemble a longer reservation from more than one campsite - helpful during the busy season. You can also reserve multiple sites for your group to accommodate varying arrivals or departures.

Consecutive Nights Required

You may select any number of campsites and dates as long as your reservation is no longer than 14 nights and all dates are consecutive or overlap.

As an example, you can make multiple campsite reservations with varying check-in or check-out dates as long as all dates overlap or are consecutive.

Reserving campsites with separate date ranges, such as over two different weekends with unreserved dates in between, requires making separate reservations. You can complete one reservation and use the Make Another Reservation button in the confirmation stage to easily make additional reservations.

The nightly rate for each campsite is displayed by date and individual site. Note that rates are subject to change based on availability and season.

The quoted nightly rate for each campsite does not include taxes.

Information on each campsite is displayed by selecting the campsite name in the left column.

You can view all available nights, up to 12 months ahead, of any campsite that is showing unavailable for your selected dates. Unavailable campsites are shown on the map as gray icons.

Show Available Dates

The description window of any unavailable campsite includes a large green button with "Show Available Dates". Use this button to reveal an interactive calendar that shows every available date for that campsite — allowing you to easily change your dates so you can reserve that favorite campsite.

This will also reset your selected dates so that you can select more than one campsite for the same dates.

Pet-friendly cabins may accommodate up to two pets weighing less than 75 pounds each.

A $55 charge per reserved cabin is required.

If your plans change, please note that pet-charge refunds must be requested prior to your arrival.

Bringing a Golf Cart?

Personal golf cart use incurs a $5 per night charge based on the length of your stay. Up to two (2) golf carts may be registered with each reserved campsite.

Select the number of golf carts you plan to bring. Your golf cart charge will be calculated based on the number of nights of your stay.

Camping Reservation Policies

Cancellation and Transfer Policies

Please review the following cancellation and transfer policies prior to your stay.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 60+ days in advance of the arrival date will incur no charges.
Cancellations made 15-59 days in advance will incur a $10.00 administration charge per unit.
Cancellations made 4-14 days in advance will incur an administration charge per unit equal to the cost of the 1st night's stay.
Cancellations made 3 days or less in advance will forfeit all funds, no refund.
No-show reservations forfeit all funds, no refund.

Reservation name changes are not permitted. Reservations must be canceled and rebooked in the name of the new reservation holder.

Transfer Policy

Date transfers made 7+ days in advance of the arrival date will incur no charges.
Date transfers made 6 days or less in advance will incur a $10.00 administration charge per unit.
To ensure fairness in reserving campsites, reservations cannot be transferred or changed more than 12 months in advance of the arrival date.

Reservations are for a specific park and cannot be transferred from one park to another.

Promotional discounts cannot be transferred at the discounted rate.

Transfers cannot be made online. Please contact our Reservations Desk at 866-345-7275 or call the park directly.

To cancel or transfer a reservation over the phone, the caller must be able to provide the reservation number or the name and phone number on the reservation.

Campground Policies

Nightly campsite rates are based on location, season and site amenities. Rates are subject to state and local taxes, and are subject to change. Reservations may be made up to 13 months in advance. Reservations requested less than one day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.

Please note that camping check-in is 2:00 p.m. Stop by the Park Office or proceed to your site, where a hangtag will be located on your site post.

Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

Campsites accommodate a maximum of 6 persons, exceptions may be made for single families larger than 6.
Minimum age for reserving a site is 18 and the adult must occupy the site.
Campers are allowed either a maximum of one trailer/RV and one tent, OR two tents per site. Maximum of 2 passenger vehicles per site. Roadside parking is prohibited. Parking on unoccupied campsites is prohibited. All vehicles entering the park must display a valid pass.
Maximum length of stay is 14 nights. Minimum length of stay is 2 nights. Longer minimum stay requirements may apply during peak season and holidays.
Registered campers must contact park staff before changing sites.
All fires must be confined to designated grills or areas.
Customers requesting an ADA (accessible) site are directed to contact the park directly.
Pets are allowed in camping areas. All pets must be on a leash no greater than 6 feet or crated at all times. They cannot be left unattended in a vehicle or on the campsite.
Maximum cumulative (total) stay for most parks is 42 out of 49 days. However, during peak season, parks may shorten the maximum cumulative (total) stay to the 14-day consecutive stay nights. Campers must leave the park for 7 days after reaching the maximum cumulative (total) stay. Example: For a campsite in the peak season, in for 14 nights, switch sites for another 14 nights, switch sites for another 14 nights then they must leave for 7 nights (42 out of 49 nights camping).

South Carolina State Parks has a strict policy against subletting sites. This means that you cannot book a site and then sell or transfer it to someone else. The person who reserved the site must occupy the site. If we discover you have sublet a site, we will contact you and put you on notice that you have violated our policy and ask that any reference to a guaranteed date at a state park be removed from your advertisement within 24 hours. After you are on notice of the initial violation, any further breach of our policy will result in cancellation of bookings and the park will not accept future reservation requests.
