Located on Desportes Island, Lake Wateree State Park is the ideal location for those looking to have fun on the water. A Campground is available for overnighters looking to extend their stay in the park, and lakeside Picnic Pads can be reserved for day use. Although the lake serves as the focal point for Lake Wateree State Park, other day use activities are available including picnicking and a short, wooded nature trail.
