Campsite Reservations

Select your check-in and check-out dates on the calendar below. Most campsite reservations require at least a 2-night stay. Some locations and dates may require longer stays. Givhans Ferry also offers Cabin and Day-Use Facility reservations. Review camping reservation policies.

Camping at Givhans Ferry

Camp near the shore of the Edisto River in one of 25 full service campsites or 10 walk-in tent sites. All sites are convenient to restrooms and hot showers. Quiet, peaceful meadows on either side of the campground provide an ample opportunity to spot wildlife and wildflowers.

Full Service Campsites 1–25 offer water, sewer and 20/30/50 amp power, as well as a grill, fire ring, and picnic table. Site material is a firm limestone base ideal for campers and RVs.

Tent Campsites 26–35 (Hike-In Only) are located approximately 200 yards from the designated parking area with no drive-up access. These tent/hammock sites have water and 20 amp electric, as well as a grill, fire ring, picnic table and storage box for food and supplies. The site material is groomed beach sand ideal for tents.

During your visit, spend a day hiking along the Old Loop Trail, an easy 4 miler. Cypress trees give way to a surrounding dense woods before opening to the spare pine trees. Birds and wildlife are plentiful, with the chance to see an alligator in the lowland area.
