Spend the day at Aiken State Park

Conveniently located next to two of the lakes within the park, the four day-use picnic areas are sure to provide an opportune home-base for your day in Aiken State Park. After fishing throughout the morning, break for a picnic before renting a canoe and exploring the Edisto River.

Paddle at your own pace down the 1.7-mile river trail as it winds down the south fork of the Edisto River. Wildlife can be spotted throughout the park, including beaver, white-tailed deer, and various bird of prey. Aiken State Park offers over 1067 acres of park to enjoy.
